General Service Applications, Tariff Filings and PUC Communications

- Joint Petition filed on September 26, 2007 between Laurel Highland Telephone Company and Dobson Cellular Systems, Inc. for approval of an Interconnection Agreement under Section 252 (E) of the Telecommunications Act of 1996. (similar filings were made between Dobson and Hickory; Dobson and Pymatuning; and Dobson and Yukon-Waltz). Petitions were assigned to OSA on 9/28/07.

 

- The following tariffs were filed on 9/26/07 with an effective date of 10/1/07 proposing to institute a rate increase for certain select Freedom Plan Plus (FPP) customers who are not subject to an unexpired term plan or usage rate guarantee.

 

- Verizon Pennsylvania Inc. filed Tariff Telephone PA PUC No. 1 on 10/2/07 with an effective date of 10/3/07, which proposes a new promotional offering for qualifying residential customers who place an order through Verizon.com. (similar filing made for Verizon North)

 

- Verizon Pennsylvania Inc. filed Tariff Telephone PA PUC No. 400 on 9/28/07 with an effective date of 10/1/07, which proposes to introduce a new pricing arrangement that provides a discount to eligible residential customers who subscribe to Regional Value. (similar filing was made for Verizon North)

 

- MCIMetro Access Transmission Services LLC d/b/a Verizon Access Transmission Services has filed Supplement No. 105 on 9/28/07 to Tariff Telephone PA PUC No. 2, to become effective November 1, 2007, which proposes to introduce Verizon Business Services III, revises the Table of Contents, revises the section number under “Grandfathered Services”.
